We are striving to help build a better, more peaceful and just world. This campaign will contribute to achieving the Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations. We will act in accordance to the guiding principles of the Charter of the United Nations.

We want to promote dialogue between Germany and Bangladesh and thereby contribute to the interchange of cultural values and tolerance.

We believe in the dignity and uniqueness of every human being and any sentient animal whose life can fare better or worse for its own self. We consider it self-evident that everyone is born with fundamental rights to which we are entitled regardless of race, species, color, sex, national or social origin, religious and political beliefs. We will not use donations for projects that are in direct conflict with this conviction, and we will always be politically and religiously impartial.

The globalization of the world allows humanity to be in touch like never before; as individuals we can see into each other’s lives every day. We want to do more than see. We believe it is an individual moral duty to help diminish poverty. We want to fulfill this obligation and hope to leave the world a better place than we found it. We should and we will because we can.
